We got information from a reliable insider that no less than 124 staff were promoted and 187 were given notch increment as a way to reward staff performance after thorough appraisal exercise in the year 2018. The promotion came just as the 2019 1st quarter is about wrapping up. Staff whose appraisal met the promotion criteria of the bank and have stayed on a grade for at least Five years, also, staff recommended based on exceptional performance and with good appraisal were considered in the promotion exercise. However, it was quite an irksome period for the operation staff of the bank as our source maintained that many of them were not promoted.
